Olá, tudo bem? I'm a German Software Engineer living and working in São Paulo, Brazil. I have worked as a Tutor, Developer, Software Architect, Teamlead, and Consultant.

Above all, my endeavor is to help teams build great products. I have seen quite some software projects fail or hang by a thread. But I have also seen projects take off.

I am convinced that an enterprise's success correlates heavily with technology and engineering, as much as with culture and trusting leadership. I advocate building lean, focused software in self-organizing and responsible teams. I strive for transparent and iterative development. I believe in carefully automating away all kinds of slow-downs and annoyances.

Currently, I am a Lead Software Engineer at Nubank. Nubank has become an unparalleled disruptor in the Latinamerican financial sector. They provide an incredible opportunity to learn and be part of a purposeful team.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, live music of various genres (including some that sound like a lot of noise), archery, and food. As an owner of an offset smoker, I have also had many (successful) attempts to create culinary treats for friends and family.
